About Roscoe

This young male black mouth cur wandered up to my house with another dog (most likely his brother) almost a week ago. Most likely dumped off on my road, no collar. Healthy and friendly. He is fawn color, not quite a year old I think. He is very sweet to humans, but definitely has a strong hunting instinct, very prey driven. Might not get along well with other pets. I have taught him to walk very well on leash and he loves to ride in UTV's. He is very trainable and loves attention and really wants a job to do. He would be an excellent coon dog with minimal training. He would be well suited for a family without other animals or a person wanting a dog for hunting game. He is a very calm, content, laid back and quiet dog. He loves to lay on your lap, and lay around in the sun, and jump in our UTV and go for a ride.. I can foster him for a while until I can find a good decent home for him, unfortunately I cannot keep him for I have 3 dogs of my own.
