About Bess

Hi there, I'm Bess! I'm a 19 week old, 23 lb, sweet-as-can-be Lab mix, hoping you have some room in your heart (and on your lap!) to share with me. I am a true love bug that wants nothing more than to be by your side. I can curl up for a nap just about anywhere, even in the car. I am working very hard on house training and sleep right through the night in my crate! I love to play with my foster sister, and my big puppy energy has really started to come out since I got here. No problem with cats, they don't really interest me. I haven't been around many small kids but I love just about any human that wants to snuggle or play with me. I'm very treat motivated and know I will do well with proper training. I am up to date on my puppy shots, and I'll be waiting for my perfect family to come meet me in York, PA! We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
