About Luna

This German Shepherd is 10 months and going to be 11 this month. Story: I took them in from family members that was not taking good care of her. I had a bigger backyard and was able to take her in. She had board and trained but is still lacking socialization. I did not socialize her early enough due to now knowing anything about dogs when trying to help a family member. The board and train used only positive reinforcement. It works awesome with time since she is still young and learning. I am unable to keep her due to not having the time and I am in financial crisis because of the amount I spent on her board and trained. I had to take time off work but it is taking a toll on my life due to not being able to pay for bills since she needs my attention. I prefer to have her go to a person or family that shows her love and get her out of the fear stage in a positive method. Good things about her is that she loves people. She loves to be pet all the time. She loves to play ball and meet new people. She loves to chase bugs especially the ones that flies. She is great at listening when it comes to chickens roaming around the yard as long she is supervise. She is very energetic and she needs her daily exercise. I can see her be great with someone who travels and is outgoing. I believe she should be good with kids since she was exposed to kids at times and loves them. She has not been around them lately tho so I am not sure how she will be around them. She is outside dog but is potty trained inside. She will love to be inside as well. Things that need to be work on: She is fearful and shy of big dogs. She is better with small dogs. She pulls on leash sometimes and also reactive to dogs and sometimes people.
