*** EXPERIENCED ADOPTER, ONLY, PLEASE !! *** 'FRECKLES' is a 1 yr. old Corgi mix who we rescued from a pound. Freckles was found as a stray when she was 6 months old, and at the time was almost 'feral', but has made amazing improvements over time with her fantastic foster Mom! Freckles warms up to people through the interaction of other dogs. With dogs, she is a playstyle 'chameleo', able and happy to change up her play type to compliment her companion. Freckles would be a great addition to a quiet, calm home with a confident, kind, resident dog and an experience owner that understands that with time, patience and the assistance of the resident dog, Freckles will continue to blossom. Due to her timid nature, we recommend a home with older children. Freckles has not been cat-tested. Freckles is spayed, fully vaccinated, de-wormed, on monthly heart-worm preventative, crate-trained and house-trained. This rescue does not do it's own 'shots' ... all medical care is done by a licensed, certified Veterinarian or done under their direct supervision (ex., monthly heartworm treatments &/or deworming). All of our rescued dogs have been on a nutritional regime which includes high quality food and supplements (ex., probiotics; vitamins, etc). This is done to bolster their immune systems and overall health; the result benefits their adoptive family with a pooch who has a lustrous coat, bright shiny eyes, and happy and healthy disposition.
