About Packer

Packer, thought to be a 4 year old lab mix originally came from the streets of Texas and found himself in a shelter rescued by a Texas rescue and transferred to Knoxville TN where his rescued returned him back to his original TX rescue who transferred him to our rescue and now he is looking for his forever family. Packer has been through a lot of changes and he just wants a home of his own. He is extremely people friendly and will give you lots of kisses and be your best bud. However, he does suffer from separation anxiety, but who can blame him after all he has been through. He just wants to be with loving people who won't abandon him again. Packer does get along with other dogs but would rather be the only one who gets attention. He is adjusting to trusting again so it's hard on him to see other dogs get attention when he is eager to be loved and understood. Packer just needs a chance to be a dog and part of something that he can shine, thrive and be a great companion. He will of course love you forever!! . He is one of our rescue's favorite. Packer is microchip, heart-worm negative, UTD on shots, nurtured and ready to go!
