About Matthew

Courtesy Listing: Matthew is looking for his forever home. Matthew is a 1 1/2 year old 55 pound American Staffordshire Terrier / Boston Terrier mix that we are assisting through our supported rehoming prorgram to avoid being owner surrendered to the shelter. Matthew's owner abruptly moved out of state and abandoned Matthew with her former roommate. Sadly, the roommate currently caring for Matthew is not able to keep him as a permanent pet. We have spoken with the original owner and agreed to grant custody of Matthew to the roommate so he can continue to care for Matthew while we find the perfect home for him. Matthew loves people of all ages, but he was tested with another dog and did not do very well. As such he would do best in a home without other pets.
