About Shorty

SHORTY is a 1.5 year old Jack Russell mix weighing in at 25 lbs. He is very shy and desperately needs a patient home to allow him to decompress and trust. We have not witnessed any reactive or agressive behaviors in Shorty and he was also very brave at the vet! Shorty came from an awful hoarding situation where he lives amongst garbage for the first year of his life. Not cared for. No couch to sleep on. No structure. No assurance that he will be ok. Until recently ���� What Shorty needs now is a promise of forever with TLC, patience and understanding. Shorty needs a home with a fenced in yard (he IS a flight risk!) and also a cat-free home. If other dogs are in the home, slow and steady will win the race. Shorty is fully vetted and is looking for an adopter now.
