About Toby

This crazy haired cutie is on the market for a furever family! Toby will be 9 months old on the 19th of October and he weighs about 6lbs. Per his previous owners he is a Dachshund/Chihuahua/Lhasa Apso mix. His spunky and playful personality is entertaining and when he snuggles up close and falls asleep on you your heart will just about explode. Toby is deaf but he is very observant and is already learning hand signals. He walks well on a leash but is not housebroken. His new family will need to be diligent on taking him out frequently so he continues to learn. He was pee pad trained by his former owner. He also doesn't mind wearing a doggy diaper. He is dog friendly and lived with cats in his previous home. Toby loves children but those living in the home must be age 12+ due to his special needs. He is food agressive but we feed him in his crate so it has not been an issue. Toby is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations and heartworm negative. He's a great little companion who enjoys being carried in a doggy sling and going for car rides. We know there is an amazing family looking for a sweet & special pup like him. He's being fostered in Wesley Chapel. Our travel distance for home checks & adoptions must not exceed one hour.
