About WINSTON

Winston is a muscular, exuberant 11 month old bully,lab,boxer mix. He is an active and athletic dog who needs daily exercise or a dog to play with that can handle his energy. He does calm down nicely in the house and wants to curl up on the couch and get warm with you. Winston is a glue board dog and bonds strongly to his humans and his dogs. He has learned sit, down, wait, leave-it and walks well on leash. He has been well socialized with dogs. Winston will require a home where someone can continue his socialization and training. He has no exposure to cats. Winston has also been well socialized with people but he does bark and can is very leery of strangers. He must have someone with experience with this and/or who is willing to consult with a guarding breed trainer before taking him. He loves kids, but they must be able to handle his rambunctious side or he will knock them down. Winston is about 75lbs and still growing, fixed, chipped and up to date on vaccines. Requirements 1. Fenced yard or land/property (NO apartments) 2.Experience with protective breeds/or willingness to enroll with a qualified trainer (before taking him). 3. Home visit will be done.
