About BigFoot

Maine Coon
Sex: Female

I named her Bigfoot because she's a full size MC (5-10lbs. Photo is deceiving) She arrived on our property some time back as a stray. She has set up camp with us since. I selected 'purebred,' because i'm not sure what she is. I also don't know her age. She was healthy when she arrived and has continued to be a healthy active cat. Note: she will need a normal checkup and the usual compliment of feline shots when adopted. I have NO knowledge of her medical history, or if she needs to be spay. She is good with adults and children and will cozy up to strangers (i have not seen her with toddlers). However, she is aggressive with cats she is not familiar with (we have 4 cats and she was aggressive with them until she got used to them, but is still domineering of them). The big problem for me is she's a ROAMER. I live in a thickly settled neighborhood and have been receiving complaints from neighbors regarding Bigfoot regularly visiting their properties and menacing their pets (including raiding backyard fish ponds and gardens). In deference to my neighbors issues (as well as my own - i have enough cats), i am putting her up for adoption. Bigfoot is best suited for families without existing cats, or other pets she can potentially menace, or dominate. I have no experience with her and DOGS and do not know how she will take to them. She is an OPEN AREA ROAMER. The fewer close neighbors with small pets, or gardens (she likes herbs) she can become a nuisance or threat to, the better. Farm sized properties (without hens) would be ideal. Questions welcome.
