About Monty

Look at all those cute freckles on Monty , he Is such a cute and loving dog! With an awesome personality! Monty is a 3 year older pup who showed up at moms house, mom kept in front yard. He can jump a 3 foot fence, umm of course that's not very high! The finder says he likes people and children as young as 2 years old. However recommended 12+. Month knows his basic commands, so someone once loved him enough to teach him sit and shake. He loves car rides and loves affection. Monty has been given a euthanasia date because the shelter is full, but also due to his resource guarding with food but not toys. He also takes treats nicely. But he will need some work on the food. So no young kids, recommended 12+. Monty was adopted and returned. I cannot find any information on his return. He was found in the kennel covered with tics, he also was sick. He has recovered from all this to be added to the euthanasia list! This is terrible news for a dog that is well behaved except with food. Monty needs a foster no kids under 12. He needs at least a 6 foot wall fence. He's going to need training for the resource food guarding. And he also needs a newhope reacue to pull him. He has no bite history. No dog evaluation was done on him since there is health conditions at the shelter. So we have no idea on how he will do with other dogs.
