About Dante

Name: Dante Age: 3 yrs Breed: Pitbull/BMC mix Gender: male Weight: 55 lbs Dante is a super sweet guy looking for his forever family. He was adopted as a puppy by what he thought would be his forever family. But after 3 years of living with them they decided they no longer wanted him and dumped him in a shelter. Just left him there scared and alone. We took him out of the shelter and back into rescue. He is shy at first, but once he warms up he is a totally different pup. He is very loving and loves his foster family. He attaches to his family. He has now been in foster for over 6 months as he has received little interest from those looking to adopt. He is a great guy. He loves to hang around and relax, he's happy laying on the couch or on his bed. He enjoys his crate, he will go there to sleep sometimes. He enjoys going for walks and playing with his ball from time to time. He loves children, and previously grew up and lived with young children. He unfortunately needs to be the only dog in the home. He was never socialized with other dogs and prefers to be in a home without any. He is housetrained, cratetrained, neutered, and up to date on medical.
