About Callie

Meet Callie- This spirited girl has a big dog personality in a pint-sized package. She undoubtedly moonlights as private security since she is incredibly alert and wants to know where the action is. Callie is a 2 year old, 14 lb. Min Pin mix that loves human attention and does not shy away from the paparazzi. She would love an active home that will keep her engaged and challenge her intellect. Callie is a confident girl that can be a bit overwhelming for smaller and/or calmer dogs due to her inquisitive nature. She would not object to being your one and only love, but she will tolerate another dog with the proper introduction. Callie would do best in a home with a yard where she can run freely and would not be a candidate for apartment living. Callie is loyal to her favorite human and will follow them intently, but she also enjoys socializing with people that adore her. Callie's vetting will be completed at the end of October and should be ready for adoption by the first week of November. She is on Hills Prescription Diet i/d due to a likely bout of Pancreatitis before she found her way to our rescue. This should be taken into consideration when adopting this beautiful girl. Note: Callie is located in the Sacramento region and we will not fly this girl. Bordering states to California will be considered.
