About Lea

Lea is ~ 2 years old and weighs 47 lbs. She was super shy when she first arrived but has come a long way in her foster home. She is still shy initially w new people but SO super sweet. She really loves other dogs so she needs a home with a patient kind human who has another confident friendly dog to show her the ropes as well as a fenced backyard . Due to her shyness she is not a candidate for the city.�%A0 Her foster mom Arielle says:�%A0 'When Lea came to us she was very shy... she walked around with her tail tucked tightly between her legs and tried to hide under anything she could. She loves to chase her foster brother & sister around the yard and wrestle with them outside, just as much as she loves to cuddle up next to them on the couch inside the house. Because Lea is initially shy she needs a home with a dog friend to help her feel comfortable and show her the ropes. She is doing well with crate training now that she has gotten used to a schedule, she happily goes into her crate and sleeps through the night. she hasn't had a single accident so she is housebroken and doing well with walking on a leash! If you are looking for the perfect snuggle buddy to curl up next to you at every opportunity, Lea is the ideal pup for you! She is a true Velcro dog! Some things are still very scary for her, but she is making so much progress'.�%A0 Lea is vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $500. We require a fully fenced yard and not an invisible fence.
