Groot is a very smart, protective, & very emotional dog. He needs tons of attention he feels the need to be with you almost all the time probably due to having been left inside of a vehicle for the most part of the first year of his life which has given him abandonment issues. Groot is always up for playing rough games like tug of war with anything unfortuneatly shoes, hats, or anything that gets a rise of attention from anyone. He does tricks like sits pretty and is very quick & determined when learning new things. Groot had a rough 1st year of life or up until he was left with me close to 8 months ago with his owner having intentions & hopes of taking him back but so far legal troubles have prevented him from being able to do so. I am unable to continue caring for Groot as I have an elderly father (physically incapable of handling this size of dog), 5 children, a female pitbull (that is not dog friendly due to being forced to breed prior to my rescuing her), and 2 jobs taking up majority of my time and attention. I love Groot so very much and him I but he deserves so much more then what I can give him.
