About General

Lab mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Meet General! He unfortunately found himself at the shelter after his owner surrendered him. General is a 5 year old black lab mix that weighs 82 pounds. He is a mellow guy and he asks for back scratches, belly rubs and a comfy dog bed for him to rest his head on. General is a low to medium energy dog that likes to play occasionally. He loves stuffed animals and chasing them back and forth. General loves being outside playing ball and then taking a nap in the sun. He is housebroken and crate trained. General loves all dogs and tends to ignore other dogs. His current foster home does not have cats, but we believe that he would be perfectly fine with cats. General does amazing with kids of all ages, walks well on a leash, and knows basic commands. He is up to date on vaccines, neutered, heartworm negative, and is waiting for you in New Freedom, PA We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. We are an all volunteer organization and we are always looking for more help. Learn more about adopting from us or volunteering for us at www.pack9rescue.org or check us out on Facebook for more information and a complete list of dogs available for adoption.
