Welcome to my ad! My name is Pesto and I'm a 50 lb, 2 year old Boxer mix. It's clearly all muscle when you check me out! I ended up in a kill shelter with road rash and an infection. The infection is cleared but I'm still growing my hair back from the incident. My foster home is pretty cool. I've met lots of dogs, but I prefer under 40-45 lbs, otherwise I get scared. The trainer said I must have had a rough life before I came to Harrisburg, PA, and it's a good thing that I found an awesome rescue. I rely on my humans when I meet big dogs to protect me so I don't have to protect myself. Little humans are pretty cool. They taste so yummy when I give kisses! My foster mama is proud of my house and crate manners- no accidents for me! Antlers are a must as fluffy toys don't stand a chance! If you think you're ready for a fun loving guy and willing to continue my basic training- apply today! We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt our dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
