About Stella

Stella and Luna are simply out of this world. These girls are around seven months old now and are still full of puppy love an antics but old enough they are done with most of the frustrating things that come with puppies. We truly feel they are a number of breeds from German Shepherd to Lab to Hound. Whatever their mix it makes for great girls that will probably get to around 60 pounds full grown. Stella is the more outgoing of the two. She's got a brilliant mind and loves to try to negotiate things with her people. Oh, the conversations we've had with her. And, brilliant though she is, her sister knows how to distract her (squirrel!) to steal whatever Stella has and she falls for it nearly every time. They love other dogs (though their big puppy-ness may overwhelm some small dogs) and have not acted like any cats are prey. Kids are great by them as well but we prefer children over five years for most of our dogs. These girls are fairly new to being indoors, having been surrendered to a shelter as obviously outdoor-only girls. That being said, they do very well in a crate and have not had any accidents in their foster home BUT their new people will need to stay on top of it and make sure they know the rules and the right door to go to. If you have been looking for some joy, entertaining companionship, and a puppy without the hassle of raising an extremely young puppy, then Stella or Luna may be just what you've been looking for.
