About Hershey

This baby is Hershey! She has the sweetest face! Hershey is a 4 year old, 50 pound black lab mix. Her birthday is October 25, 2016, so whoever adopts her will have time to plan a perfect 5th birthday party! Hershey is a friendly, affectionate girl who thinks she is a lap dog! She can be timid with new people, but once she knows you she is loyal and loving and a great companion. Her favorite thing is to have her belly rubbed. Hershey is not really an outdoorsy dog, she'd much rather be inside with her person. She is good on car rides, and walks well on a leash. She doesn't like harnesses, but does really well with a regular collar. She is potty trained and well behaved in the home. Hershey has not had the best experiences with children (not her fault) and would not be good in a home with kids. Like many dogs she is not a fan of nail trims and she has bad storm anxiety. At night she will sleep in the big bed with her person or on a doggy bed on the floor if you prefer. When she's really happy and excited, she sneezes. And when Hershey's really, really happy, she smiles. �%9D%A4��%8F Hershey is spayed, current on all of her vaccines, heartworm negative, has had a Proheart 12 heartworm prevention shot, and is on Simparica for flea prevention. This sweet baby girl just needs a calm home with a family who is going to love her and take care of her forever.
