Maggie Mae Domestic Shorthair Female 11 years old 11 lbs. Hello, I'm Maggie Mae. I'm a beautiful girl who would be so thankful for a wonderful forever home. I am just the sweetest girl and I would do so well in a easy going home where my humans are gentle and kind. In my foster home, it took me about a month to completely trust and be ready for affection (I hid in my safe spot in the closet and just wasn't totally sure of my surroundings.) But after that transition time, I just flourished! I now love to sit in my foster mom's lap, I have the most gorgeous purr and I want to snuggle up right next to her face when getting lots of love, and I'm understanding now that life is only good from now on! I may have a similar trust building need in a forever home so I need a human who can just be patient and understand that my love comes with time. I do live with a dog in my foster home and I've come around to feeling more comfortable with him! So I think if a dog is very gentle with a cat, I'd do well in a home with a dog. I'm not sure how I'd do with other cats but I think it's probably similar to a dog-trust building and then I can likely co-exist beautifully! But I also think I'd enjoy being my human's one and only as well. I'm quite proud of my excellent litter box habits and I've perfected finding the best napping spots around the house! I have a gorgeous purr and I just SO want to find a forever home where I can finally rest my head and finally be home sweet home. I'm in really good health-no ongoing medical issues for me!
