About Lucy

This is my sweet girl Lucy. She has been my loving dog for the last 4.5 years. Unfortunately, I'm left with no choice but to find her a new home as she has turned out to be incompatible with my 1 year old daughter, Ellie. Lucy is a very sweet dog and I am devastated by this. Believe me when I say that rehoming her is the absolute last resort for us. Just the same, Dad has to do what Dad has to do. Lucy is a rescue dog and came from an abusive situation. We don't know exactly what happened to her, but she has significant trust issues with most people (and other dogs) until she gets to know them. While it takes some time to earn her affection, my wife and I both agree she is the most loving dog we have ever known, and we adore her completely. She loves cuddles, short walks (she has a bit of a bum leg from a previous break), chasing squirrels and being fed treats. Lucy is about 6 years old and is a Beagle/Lab mix. She is spayed, house-trained, and up to date on her vaccinations. If you (or anyone you know) might be interested in being Lucy's new master/best friend, please private message me.
