Try as they might the shelter could not find her people and no one was coming to look at her to adopt. Fuzzy Pawz was asked if we could make room for her and of course we did - come on look at that face! We are pretty sure that she was an outside dog likely chained up or stuck in a small backyard most of her life. In true puppy fashion Lily is a ball of fire; all she wants to do is play all day. She loves the other dogs in the house and plays 8 hours a day or more if she can. When the other dogs are tired, she chews on anything she can get her teeth on - welcome to life with a puppy. She loves all humans and dogs but she doesn't know her size and can knock little ones over. We aren't sure about cats - she ignores small running critters in the yard but having one in your home could mean play time for her; supervision would be required. Lily is doing better about her crate while her foster family is gone but still thinks chewing the things we normally hide from her sounds more fun. She also doesn't like being separated from you, she will paw at the door and whine when you leave. She is getting better on leash and now runs to the front door when we pick up her harness. She can be a bit of a nervous nelly and isn't the biggest fan of car rides so she needs someone with patience to teach her the world is not so scary. She likes to sleep in bed with us- true bed hog style. While she knows to go potty outside if the door is open, we are still working on letting us know she needs to go outside when the door is shut. We have had good luck as long as we keep her on a schedule. The sky is the limit with Lily - she really wants to please you and we think a puppy class would be amazing for her and she would have a blast!
