About Lua

This is Lua. She is a pit bull, lab mix with an amazing personality. She has lots of energy but also loves to snuggle up with you on the couch. Lua is very well behaved and is very smart. She is extremely food motivated so treats are a must, of course. She gets along with other dogs but she does not like sharing her toys with anyone else. She absolutely loves to chase a ball and run around outside, and she does well not running away. Lua does have some anxiety and loves to be right next to you always. She gets a little nervous around strangers but will warm up once she knows it's safe. Overall, Lua is an amazing companion who just needs someone who can take care of her properly and give her the life she deserves. I wish I could keep her, but I feel I am no longer the best fit for her. Lua had hip dysplasia surgery a while back and has finally recovered. However, recently she has developed some arthritis in her right back leg. I have been giving her some medicine to try and help the situation but I'm afraid I can't afford it now like I used to. My lifestyle has changed a lot this past year and having Lua doesn't fit anymore, as much as I wish it did. I want Lua to have the best life possible even if that means in a new home. I believe she would do well in a house with lots of energy, she does well on hikes and long walks. I have seen her around small children and with her personality, I believe she would love them and their craziness. I think she would also love to be in a home with another dog, someone to play with who can match her energy well. If you are interested in homing Lua please send a message and I would love to chat.
