About Rudy

*ADOPTION PENDING* Rudy is a 10ish year old Jack Russell Terrier mix and weighs around 15lbs. When Rudy was sprung from the shelter he was underweight, scared, full of fleas, and in serious need of some TLC. In the last few months Rudy has received the love and medical care he needed and has really come out of his shell. He's ornery and spry and likes to turn recall into a fun game of chase with his foster mom! For this reason Rudy needs a fenced in yard. He gets along great with the other dogs in his foster home but would be fine as the only dog getting all the snuggle time with his human. Rudy is housebroke and crate trained, but does fine left out to roam while home alone. Rudy is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped, and kept on monthly preventatives. You can apply to adopt Rudy via our website at www.handsofhoperescue.com or email for an application if you are unable to complete one online. No phone calls accepted. Rudy's adoption fee is $250. All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application is approved, we will put you in touch with the dogs foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the pet. This dog is fostered in Wichita, KS and adopter must drive to pick up. We do not ship or deliver. We do allow out of state adoptions, however qualified in state applications will be given preference. Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each dog based on the dogs needs.
