About Colt

My father in law Ricky has fallen ill and can no longer care for his 3 year old male Pit Bull. We would like to find Colt a home where he will be loved and worked with on his behavior. A little back story about Colt. He's a puppy who survived parvo even tho the vet said he should have died. Ever since he survived parvo he's been skiddish around people. I have 2 kids 6 and 6 months old and I did/do not trust Colt around them he can be unpredictable. Colt can be aggressive towards other male dogs and will kill cats. We feel that Colts perfect home would be with a single middle-aged woman without cats or children in the household, or an older single male or woman who needs a PTSD animal. I would not advise Colt be in a home with a couple. Colt is a very loving and loyal dog he just needs the right owner to work with him.
