About Meila

Meila is currently down in Alabama with our rescue partner. Once she has an approved family waiting for her, we will transport her up to her forever home! Here are some notes from our rescue partner: 'Meila's owner went to jail and was then dropped off at their neighbor's house. She wasn't being properly cared for so we rescued her! She has been good with my chihuahua mix (9 lbs) and my lab mix (60 lbs). Unfortunately she doesn't do well with cats; she likes to chase them. She is also a bit rough for young kids, however she would do well with young teens in the home! Meila is loving, beautiful, playful, spunky, and she loves car rides! All she wants is to be loved by anyone and everyone. She thinks she's a lap dog which is precious. She wants to be with me so much that she'll follow me around the yard off leash while I mow the lawn. She will make a family very happy.'
