About Rudy

Hello everyone! I have had this beautiful kitty for a couple of months and he has been the most wonderful addition to our little family, but it seems that the love that I have for this cat (and cats in general) isn't reciprocated by my DNA, as I am miserably allergic. I get itchy rashes when his fur comes into contact with certain parts of my skin. I have tried to make it work with my allergies (I have even tried dander-control sprays) but I am now at the point where I feel like I can no longer be comfortable in my own home. I am in tears as I am writing this, and this hasn't been an easy decision to come to, so please don't hate on this post. Rudy is perfectly healthy and fixed. When we first took him in he had a mosquito bite allergy on his nose that no longer exists. He will have to be an indoor cat, but he used to be an outdoor cat before we took him in. We weren't sure of his age when we adopted him. He's definitely an adult from/in the pictures, but still has his youth and loves to play. I know he does well with other cats, and he's the friendliest of pets. I'm not sure how he would do around dogs though, but he has such a chill and curious personality that I doubt there would be many issues. He is of course litter-box trained, as he has only been indoors since we've adopted him. I have lots of food, toys and other items that I will be giving away with him. Rudy is such a good cat and I can't help but blame myself for having to give him up, but this is the conclusion that I've come to. I don't want to give him up to a shelter, so if I can find him a good home (preferably with other friendly cats), I think that would be ideal. I am well aware there are horrible people out there, so I will do my research before rehoming him. Please only message or comment if interested.
