About Zig

Hi, I'm Zig! Top five things to know about me: 1) I love taking my humans for long walks - I even let them hold the leash, they seem to walk without pulling! 2) I have the softest, whitest coat and a tiny bobbed tail, so my whole body wiggles when I wag. 3) I'm the best at cleaning up any of the food the humans happen to drop, or leave out. All floors and counters remain clean and sparkly. 4) My personal pet peeve is that lizards just lounge about on sidewalks - since no one else seems to be worrying about this I take it into my own paws. 5) It's my secret desire to join the circus and do tricks. If that doesn't work out an active family would be pretty dreamy too! Zig is 35 pounds, about a year old, neutered, fully vetted, housebroken, crate trained and has basic obedience skills. He's a sporty dog with a good sense of humor and a soft side - the jokes sometimes cover the lack of confidence that comes from spending his doggy adolescence in rescue. He continues to make amazing progress in foster care, but what he wants most is to land in his forever home with a family to love. Zig deal breakers: cats and dogs under 20 pounds. Zig caution: his teenage puppy exuberance is unlikely to be a good fit for very young children.
