About Darwin

This showstopper is Darwin. Per the DNA test, is an Australian Shepherd mix who was born in December, 2018. He weighs about 45 pounds. Darwin has been professionally trained and knows his basics: Sit, Down, Stay, Place, Come, and Heel. He is house and crate trained. Darwin draws a lot of attention with his stunning looks. He is good meeting new folks at the beach and elsewhere as long as they give him just a moment to check them out. Darwin is a fun dog beach and dog park guy (click on the red YouTube button to watch him play) who wants a home where he can live with another dog or two. Darwin is great for outdoor adventures like hiking in the mountains. He recently went camping and had a great time. He is good on leash and loves to ride in the car. He also loves to fetch. Darwin is amazingly smart. He loves to learn. He has also been tested in herding and did well. He would be fun for someone who wants to participate in herding as a hobby. The person who becomes Darwin's forever home will find him a loyal pal who is ready for adventure. Darwin's new home must have a yard, another dog or two, and be home more than not. Darwin is used to having his people with him a lot and he prefers it that way. Also, Darwin is a big foodie, so his new home has to keep the trash locked up and not leave food on the counters. Darwin is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He is located in SoCal. Adopters must be able to meet ans adopt here. We do not ship dogs. A home visit and vet reference are required.
