About Betsy

Betsy is a 3 y/o pitbull/boxer mix who loves snuggles, people, toys, and walkies. Betsy loves to be with her humans, playing ball, and would be a great companion for someone with a slow or fast lifestyle as she is adaptable to new environments when she has a confident leader. She came to us with anxiety, after a training program and lots of love, she now has basic obedience, such as leash, crate, and potty training, and can be on leash around other dogs. She thrives best in a single pet home, or with very calm, independent dogs. Betsy should be walked in places where other dogs are on leash and will not rush up to her, as she values personal space--which is normal! We took Betsy in as a temporary foster situation; however, we are not a good fit as we have a dog and cat of our own. We love her so much and want to make sure she finds the loving home that she deserves. Our trainer can provide check-ins weekly in Scotts Valley, CA to help her new family, foster or permanent, transition her into their home!
