About Bailey

We rescued Bailey from a Houston shelter where his time was up after he was dumped by his owner 6 weeks prior. We are not sure how he made it there this long since that shelter often euthanizes owner surrenders within days. He had someone look over him for sure. Bailey is a bit on the nervous side around new people and will take a little extra time meeting strangers. He has done great with all the dogs at his foster home that range between 8 lbs to 50 lbs dogs. He is super-playful with 2 of the larger dogs in particular, a female 50 pound dog and a male 50 pound dog. He is interested in playing with the smaller dogs but they are a bit intimidated by his size. He has not been cat-tested. Bailey would do best in a home with older children age 14 and up or adult only home. He is very loving and very affectionate with his humans. Bailey is a playful and bouncy puppy who will need obedience training but is learning quickly. He has already mastered walking on a leash, sit, stay, go in your crate (does well in his crate), come here. He takes treats nicely and doesn't even mind sharing chew toys with other dogs. He LOVES playing tug-of-war with his toys and the other dogs. They love to chase each other in the yard. He is neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccines, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives.
