About Maggie

My name is Maggie,(currently in Palm Beach County, FL) they call me Maggie Mae because I am super cute and very sweet. I'm a petite boxer at 45 lbs and approximately 9-10 years old. I'm very lovable and affection. There is nothing better for me, than snuggling on a cozy blanket & being next to my person all the time.. I'm still learning my manners and I'm a curious little girl, so I need a home that is attentive to things I can get into or get me in trouble.��%BD��%BD%BD��%BD��%BD%BD%BD%A0��%BD��%BD%BD��%BD��%BD%BD%BD%A0 I am house-broken and crate trained, but I definitely need someone who has the time to spend with me, since I don't like being alone, at all. I also really don't know how to play with toys but I am trying, so it would be great, if I could find someone who wants to teach me that toys can be really FUN! I am very hard of hearing, but have started to learn hand commands, but that also means I need a securely fenced yard and to always be on leash outside of the house and yard. It also means I don't like being surprised. I was recently diagnosed with cardiomyopathy, which is managed with medications & supplements very well. I do get around really well , but I do have a slight limp. I would do best in a home that has no young children. Older respectful children that understand my boundaries and unique needs is ok. I love people and going for walks. I have been around other dogs, but I can get a little pushy/bossy so it would be best if another dog in the home was well trained & on the calm side. They don't know if I have ever been around cats, so that would need to be determined.
