About Max

Meet Max! This incredibly adorable and sweet smoosh faced mastiff/boxer type mix was originally adopted from us as a young pup 4 years ago and recently returned through no fault of his own. Sadly his family went through some major unexpected transitions and are no longer able to properly care for him. Max has lived with another dog also adopted from us (Pixie is listed separately and they can be adopted together or as a pair). Max has lived with another dog, a cat and a little girl who loved them both dearly and with whom he did really well. Max is crate trained and housebroken, however he is also very confused and anxious over the uncertainty his life has taken so he may need a few weeks to get his bearings again and may have some accidents, etc as he transitions to a new family.
