About Sahara

Sahara is a cute shaggy haired stray that recently arrived at our shelter. She looks like an Airedale/Wheaten Terrier mix and is estimated to be one year old. Sahara is a medium size dog and weighs thirty-three pounds. She's a sweet gentle dog that will make a wonderful family pet. Affectionate and friendly, she loves people of all sizes. Sahara is calm and quiet in her kennel and is always on her best behavior. We don't know if she is housebroken but she does try to keep her kennel clean. Sahara enjoys seeing all the volunteers and looks forward to her time outside in our play yard. She is comfortable around other dogs and not one to cause a quarrel. If you currently own a dog, we can arrange a playdate to see if they are compatible. A fenced in yard will give her a safe place to run and play. Sahara is anxious to find a family of her own and hopes you will come see her soon.
