About Sophie

I am looking for a good home or foster home for Sophie. She is a 45 lb pit mix, 3 years old. She is super sweet and loves to cuddle. I moved to an apartment but I can only keep her for a few weeks until I find a permanent or foster home for her. Sophie is a very happy dog and loves people. She has spurts of energy but she also doesn't mind laying in her bed most of the day. She loves the outdoors and is happy sitting outside for hours at a time in the sun. She does not get along very well with other dogs or pets so she needs to be in a one dog home or with someone willing to integrate her. She lives with another dog now and gets along fine. She gets along great with kids but a home with older kids would be better. She is spayed and has all current shots and recently had her annual exam. She has arthritis is her back knees and takes medication. But it doesn't keep her from running around and having fun. She loves people and is a great companion.
