About Zeus

Hi my name is Zeus. I am a Malte Tzu and weigh approximately 14 lbs and about 7 years old. I quickly get attached to my human and will follow you everywhere you go with some verbal directions. I am affectionate and will love to sit in your lap. I am very sweet once I know your voice and smell. I'm getting along nicely with Foster Mommy's pup who is very chill. I would be happy as an only pup or with another pup if the chemistry is good. I have some eye issues that will need medication and Veterinarian check-ups for the rest of my life. I have no vision in either of my eyes. My left eye has glaucoma and my right eye has retina detachment. I can be kept comfortable with several eyes drops applied 3 times daily. I also need a high blood pressure pill 2 times daily. I like to take them with a little bit of my wet food. I tolerate Foster Mommy putting in my many eye drops. I will need to be seen by an animal Ophthalmologist every 3 to 4 months. I will need you to carry me up and down steps as I have no depth perception. I walk fairly well on a leash with verbal directions. At night and when not closely supervised, I like to sleep and be in the safety of my crate. I will need to continue to be on a good quality renal support food to protect my kidneys and to avoid any future issues with my tummy. Because of my limited vision, my human will need to carefully supervise my introduction to new people. Did I mention how absolutely cute I am!!
