About Luna

Luna is a very smart, total sweetheart of a dog. She spent months being overlooked in a kill shelter in Alabama. I sprung her a few months ago, with the understanding she would be okay with cats. She is not. So, I am trying to find her the wonderful, forever home that she so deserves. She is typical of a B.M.C. in that she is very loyal, kind, somewhat willful, protective, and medium/ high energy type of girl. She is very happy with simple pleasures,- a good, brisk walk, a good meal, some toys to okay with, and her person/ people nearby make her soooo happy. She is not a lot of work, and is fine when left alone ( not at all destructive). She is a chill girl, loves to give kisses, knows commands, learns fast, and would make a GREAT family dog! She needs a fairly active person to walk her everyday, a fully fenced yard would be very nice, too. No electric fences! No very small children as she is quite a large girl -80 lbs. No cats or small dogs. A good Vet reference and large breed experience are both a MUST. She probably would be fine with another large dog, but a slow intro would be necessary.
