About Irish

Irish (currently located in Boca Raton, FL) IRISH will flourish as the the ONLY PET in a home. If you don't have any current pets in your home and you want to help make a difference in the life of a HOMELESS pet, Irish will thank you with cuddles Irish was found as a stray, roaming the streets underweight, overbred and neglected. Irish is a very loving girl that can be shy at first but warms up quickly. We believe Irish was not treated well in her previous years as she tends to shy away from hand gestures and is scared of loud noises and things like brooms and shoes. But despite her past, Irish is a lovable girl. Our volunteers that care for and interact with her regularly say she is a sweet girl who loves back and butt scratches. She gets excited when she sees familiar faces and comes over for affection with tail wagging Irish is estimated to be 5-6 years old. She loves people, is a great snuggle buddy and would make a wonderful companion. She is crate and potty trained and although she is a strong girl & does walk great on a leash. Irish is healthy, spayed and up-to-date on vaccines. Dog parks are NOT a place for Irish. She is happy just being in a home just her and her people. For the best, most successful outcome she would live her best, happiest life as the only pet in a home. The perfect home for Irish would be a calm, less active environment. A home that doesn't have a lot of people in and out all day. A home with no young children would best suit her. We only want to set her up for success! Irish deserves to be in a loving home.
