About Dexter

Dexter was picked up as a stray along with another dog by a local kill shelter. No owner came to reclaim them. Dexter is 7 months old and weighs 13.8 lbs. Small dogs are full grown by the time they are 6 months old. He will not get any bigger. Dexter is mixed with Schnauzer and we are not sure what else. He has a short little nub of a tail though! Dexter is so sweet and affectionate. He is playful and ready to live life! Dexter is neutered and fully vetted. He does not yet know what a leash is so you will have to teach him. He is still being crate trained and is doing well with housetraining. This boy needs more socialization so he can be a confident canine citizen. Right now he is a tiny bit reserved when meeting stranges, but it honestly only lasts like 10 seconds!
