About Titus

TITUS IS STILL WITH HIS OWNER. WE ARE ASSISTING THEM WITH FINDING HIM A HOME. Titus is a sweet, affectionate, playful dog. Titus was adopted from Pregnant Dogs Rescue at just 8 weeks old and was previously named Crash. He will be 5 on November 24, 2021. He is fully house trained, microchipped, and is up to date on all of his shots. Titus listens very well and understands commands such as 'go lay down, sit, outside, potty, drink your water, eat your food, night night', etc. He likes attention, such as belly rubs and scratches, hugs, and pats on the head. He gets along well with other animals and is very gentle and fond of children. He loves to give doggy kisses. He is not used to being yelled at or scolded much because he is such a well-behaved dog. If scolded, he will shy away from you for a while and not want to come near, unless a treat is in hand. Speaking of treats, his favorite are the real chicken jerky treats you can find in any grocery store in the pet/dog aisle. He expects a treat after each walk. One of Titus's quirks is that he does not want anyone near him or looking at him while he eats his food. Titus is an inside and outside dog. Titus has a lot of energy, therefore, he needs plenty of exercise. He likes to run around a fenced in backyard, and whenever he can he likes to relax in the sun. If a backyard is not available, he also loves to walk every chance he gets and he likes to explore wildlife; he especially likes to chase squirrels and rabbits. Just say 'you wannna go for a walk' he perks up and is jumping up and down with joy. He sleeps inside during the night on his bed. He is used to sleeping on a very large doggy bed, so if someone can please accommodate, that would be wonderful. Titus needs a very loving and caring home filled with loving people who can offer him the same love and attention he so desperately deserves and needs and has always received. Everyone who meets Titus falls in love with him and are so amazed at how well-behaved he is and how well he listens to commands. Titus is being re-homed very reluctantly, but due to relocating and a change of circumstances, has left his family no other choice.
