About Abigail

Black Mouth Cur mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Abigail's finder was over-heard at a gas station hollering to anyone who would listen and was to one of our fosters at the gas station thought it personally a cry for help for anyone to get her out of the back of a pick up truck and somehow get their attention enough to allow her the chance to inquire about the dog he was hauling. She finally caught up to the truck and as luck would have it he even had his own hunting advertisement phone number in the back windshield! She called and asked the driver about the dog he had in the cage in his truck and he asked if she wanted the dog and she said' well...yeah sure!' then when She was getting her from him She found out by the driver, his intention was to take her back to the place where she was picked up at, where she later learned that unfortunately a lot of stray dogs are abandoned and left to fend for themselves. Foster request: 'Please take her home and love her as I have done the past few months of fostering her and encouraged her to be less fearful of humans. She will always do the hollering talk when she is excited to see you home and you won't be able to quiet her down until you disengage her vocal communication by simply ignoring it. Last maybe couple minutes. But has always made me laugh with joy to know she is just that opinionated! But when you hear her howl you will definitely get why I just had to try to save her that morning at the gas station. '
