About Lennie

Lennie is a 120lb recently neutered male who was recently surrendered due to the owner's health issues. While he has little experience with children and other animals, this 4 year old Saint loves attention and enjoys being around people. He loves car rides and adventures, and greets the world with a sweet temperament and curious personality. This dog has been through a lot of changes recently including two homes, a week at the vet while his heartworm was being treated, and now is at a kennel indefinitely. Unfortunately all of this turmoil led to an incident where Lennie bit the thumb of a person giving him meds the day after his first intravenous heartworm treatment. This single incident aside, he has shown no signs of aggression and shows a desire to meet people and other dogs. He has since finished his heartworm treatment and has received praise from both the vet and the owner of the kennel where he currently resides. This is a good dog who has experienced the loss of his pack and will need time and patience to adjust to a new family. Lennie is a great companion who will reward your efforts with loyalty and trust once he settles into his new environment.
