When she first came into rescue, she was shy and timid but after a couple of weeks, she warmed up once she learned to trust her foster mom. Ponder was adopted a several weeks ago but the adopter did not listen to the foster on what to do and what not to do for Ponder's safety until she learned how to trust her. Unfortunately, Ponder got loose and was on the run for a few days. Thankfully, she was recaptured and went back to her foster. She is more friendly now than when she first arrived. Ponder loves to play with the other dogs and loves toys. She has not had an accident in the foster home but she does go out on a regular basis as her foster mom works from home. Ponder is still learning how to walk on a leash so it will be sometime before she should go out and about outside a secure fenced area. This is another reason for another dog and a physical fenced yard. She will be shy and timid until she is comfortable with her new place so you will need to be patience with her. Since we are 100% foster based rescue, only APPROVED applications will be contacted to set up a meet and greet. We do not allow shipping and do not transport. You must live no more than 350 miles from 62062 and able to drive for meet and greet which will be determined by the adoption coordinator at a later time. Thank you
