About Eddie

Meet Eddy! He is a VERY special guy! He was found running loose on the streets of New Mexico in a rural area. He was starving and malnourished. A couple picked him up and nursed him back to health, got his shots and neutered him. They were unable to keep him because of their own health condition. I agreed to foster him and I can't keep him because he doesn't get along with my dog. He really needs a home. He is a big goof and very loving. He has the typical German Shepherd traits - beautiful, super smart and loyal. He responds well to training. He is just an amazing dog. His life started out tough. He needs a good home and will pay back whoever adopts him ten-fold with love. He knows basic commands, was horrible on a leash but got a lot better with some work. He is around 85 pounds and approximately 1 year old, he will fill out a bit more. He is kennel trained and has his own kennel that will go with him. Has all of his shots and is neutered. He is ready to go! There is a re-homing fee! He will need fenced yard. He would probably be best as an only dog. He is friendly and loving with people but he is big and needs to learn manners. He is looking for someone with German Shepherd experience or experience with a dominant breed dog. His training will need to be continued. He is athletic and would make an excellent running and/or hiking partner. Please consider adopting Eddie he REALLY needs a home.
