About CHAVEZ *SEE VIDEO

We suspect he's still alive because people recognize his inherent sweetness and eagerness to please. Chavez is 3 years old. He's an active, athletic boy who is a mix of many interesting breeds. Guesses include ridgeback, lab, shepherd and boxer. Someone get this dude a DNA test!! Chavez is anxious in his kennel, but once he's out he's enthusiastic and playful. He loves toys and lets you remove the tennis ball from his mouth. Welcomes visitors into the play yard happily and shows no barrier reactivity to dogs in the neighboring yard. Chavez is very attached to Sherry Brewer-she works with him regularly-and he was THRILLED to see Jill again. It's like he knows who is advocating for him. Chavez' challenge is that people see his active side, but not his affectionate side. Dude needs to decompress from his 5 months at the shelter and burn off steam. With the right activity, he can be a couch potato! Please share this deserving dog.
