THX SO MUCH FOR YOUR MANY EMAILS WITH CONCERN AND OFFERS!!!! GOOD NEWS: YAY! LUCKYBOY HAS FOUND A HOME!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL OF YOUR CONCERN AND INQUIRIES... HE WAS RE-HOMED TODAY VIA THE SPRINGER SPANIEL RESCUE INC., ORGANIZATION. www.springerspanielrescue.org HIS NEW FOSTER PARENTS HAVE A HISTORY OF FOSTERING OLDER DOGS AND HAVE ADOPTED THEIR LAST 3 FOSTER DOGS LuckyBoy is an extremely handsome, easy going, affectionate dog. Was told by previous own that he was purebred English Springer Spaniel, but never tested him. He has beautiful feathering and a very silky coat. I've had him 11 years. Although he's 12 yrs, most people think he's much younger than his age due to his youthful playfulness. He weighs 45 lbs. He is well socialized and gets along with new people and dogs exceptionally well. He did go through obedience training and can do several tricks. He's able to go for many hours without a potty break. And, in the morning can wait a very long time before going outside. He won't wake you up in the morning!! He has no destructive habits. He only barks if someone comes to the door. I can't keep him where I'm currently living because he's started whining and whimpering when I'm not at home. Condo neighbors complain and I have to take him to the pound if I can't re-home him soon. I adore him, but for his sake it would be best if he were with at least one other dog because he gets lonely when left alone. However, he loves being in the car and never whimpers or barks when left in the backseat while on errands (of course, it has to be cool enough weather). He's very friendly, fun and frisky in the dog park. He's been very well socialized at off leash dog parks and by staying with other dogs at their homes. Everyone who has taken care of him, with groups of dogs or alone, says he's an extremely easy dog. He can jump into the back of a SUV or truck. I've been feeding him organic 'Honest Kitchen' food which may be keeping him healthy (and have several extra boxes of it left). He does have a HomeAgain microchip implanted to identify him. He's a well-loved, sweet boy, looking for his forever home
