Hello, My name is Yoda, I am a pit bull mix. Who was used as a bait dog and when they were done with me they threw me away to die and my horrific life was over. However, the loom of despair was only short lived, and as luck would have it I was found in the woods after Hurricane Ida hit by Ms. Sarah and her dynamic trio of dogs. She saw though my past of neglect, abuse, bite marks and scars that I desperately needed Medical attention. She took me to Companion Animal Hospital in Hammond LA where they diagnosed me with a 102 fever, positive for heartworm, skin infection, open wounds, emaciated, and a massive ear infection. I was under a 48 hour observation at the Vet office then I was able to be released to Ms. Sarah where she welcomed me into her home so I can recover from my wounds. Since then I have been a good boy I get along well with the other dogs, cat, kids, and potty training. Without a doubt they have provide me with love and kindness which I have never felt. Undoubtedly, this makes me happy that I can finely get the rest that is that so I can recover. In addition, I am scheduled to see the Vet in the upcoming weeks for Neutering and shots. Graciously Ms. Sarah is only offering a small adoption fee that doesn't compare to the medical expensive that she has all ready payed for. In return, all she wants is that I go to a home that will take care and love me forever.
