About Bootsy

Bootsy is a tripod. This beautiful girl was surrendered by her person who left her alone most of the time and didn't want to take care of her. Now in foster with loving people and plenty of other dogs, Bootsy is blossoming! She is about 11 months old and weighs 65 lbs. She just adores the children in the home and is great with men and women. She likes to sit outside in the sun, but is starting to learn that being inside with the family also has it's advantages. She is not destructive at all inside. No chewing or going to the bathroom inside. Bootsy is gentle and very respectful. But if you raise your voice she is GONE! We're sure she has been yelled at a good bit. She lets a tiny, 8 lb chihuahua boss her around which is pretty funny. Bootsy came to us with a dislocated patella, and unfortunately had to have surgery to remove her rear leg. Her prognosis is great, she is young and is expected to heal well. She needs a home that can appreciate the beautiful, gentle soul that she is.
