Magpie, aka Maggie is in need of being rehomed. She is 19 months old and weighs in at about 140 lbs. She is a lovable, goofy girl who is very affectionate and patient with children, adults, and has never been problematic with people. She has, admittedly, not been out in public a lot but behaves well when we go to crowded vet office etc. Her problem is that she has always been reactive to other dogs. We have been through extensive training and worked hard with her. She is very obedient and good when alone, and plays well with our other dogs, but from time to time will become aggressive with them without warning. We are very sad about having to make this decision, but we know that she needs to be in an environment where she will be an only dog. She is potty trained and uses a dog door with ease. She is spayed, has had Gastropexy, and shots will be updated prior to rehoming. She works well on a leash (we use a prong collar only because of her size, but she almost always is walking on a loose lead), and knows her basic commands. She loves being brushed regularly and belly rubs, as well as just laying on the couch. She has been in a home with two school age children and has been great with them. We want what is best for our sweet girl, so if you are a Saint lover or know of somebody who would be a good fit for her, please DM. We need to rehome her soon for safety sake, but also want to make sure we can find a good fit for her forever home.
