About Daisy Mae

Please be patient as I tell you our story! Daisy Mae is a great girl. And emotionally I am so attached it is beyond me. I left a Dv situation. And in doing so my abuser got to keep my children. I was a stay at home mom for seven yrs. It took me by surprise I was not even sure how the judge could have allowed this. And I was lost, drowning, and even though I was fighting for my babies I felt I would take three steps forward and 10 back. My stupid cousins ex had a Bull mastiff from my uncle's line and supposedly bred her to an English mastiff. So they were half and half. Upon the momma having pups she had 13 one died... The one that died was the only fawn colored pup. Everyone else was black... Except mom and supposed dad of course. So when she was about three months old I was throwing myself into my family's farm everyday and would go past the house see the pups in their outdoor kennel and after about three months she was the only one left, dubbed the runt and left outside while mom and dad and the brother they decided to keep got to be inside. One day my cousins now ex. Said he was going to shoot her or dump her off a bridge and out her in his truck bed tied. On my way out I cut her lead and put her in my Durango and drove home. I didn't know what I was going to do with her. But I felt we sort were sent each other at the time we needed it. That was almost a year and a half ago (November 29th) Since then I have received full custody but my ex is relentless. At one point he even went after my dog And she spent a week at the vet from being fed some sort of sleeping pills with hamburger. The vet Leanna saved her. But. She seemed to forget some training and return back to a bit hyper puppy mode. She's great with my kids. Three, six and 12... And now my attorney tells me my ex is unpredictable, the court for some reason dropped the restraining order, So my attorney said to take my kids and go and my only option is 2000 miles away and unfortunately I can't take my girl with me. She went through begining classes through PetSmart. She knows sit, lay, recall. However sometimes she chooses when she wants to listen. Lol. But she has been a great farm dog. Minus chicken chasing. She uses the dog door here. Loves lounging on the warm porch in the sun. But seems to get antsy if she can't be out when she wants, she is crate trained, and will come with her food, treats, and flea meds, she's had all puppy shots will need rabies in Dec. We are leaving Oregon 10/2 @4am. I contacted local shelters and they're full... So if she has to go there it won't be great for her. I was asking $75 rehoming fee. As she will come with all her stuff. She has food, treats, three more months of flea meds, leash, ect. She is crate trained!
